Remember if you are NOT connected to your child’s DOJO account, please reach out to that teacher ASAP. This is a fantastic communication tool for you and the teacher as well as translates for all into most languages.
Parents and Guardians, please review the new Cell Phone Contract and policies for Northeast Community Propel Academy (Please Click Link To Review):
Greetings Northeast Community Propel Academy Families,
We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support as we opened a brand new
school this past year, 2021-2022! The summer has just begun and we are already planning for
school year 2022-2023. As part of our communication process, we will continue to keep you
informed with updates via Class Dojo, Facebook and Messenger (Robo Call) prior to school
opening and throughout the year.
There are many exciting things to share with you that will be forthcoming throughout the
summer months. But first we want to make you aware of the new grade configuration here at
Propel:
● Primary K-3
● Intermediate 4-6
● Middle 7-8
One of our initial goals was to build community within the school across grades levels with
students and staff. In doing so, future students in grades 6-8 exercised their voices and voted on
what school uniform shirt colors they would like to wear.
● K-4 students will continue to wear Light Blue uniform shirts
● Grade 5 students will continue to wear White uniform shirts
● Grade 6 students will wear Navy Blue uniform shirts
● Grade 7 students will wear Grey uniform shirts
● Grade 8 students will wear Red uniform shirts
Acceptable shirts are polo or button down shirts
Grades K-4 wear Navy Blue Bottoms and 5th-8th wear black bottoms.
Please also ensure that students have rubber soled shoes (preferably sneakers) of any color.
In order to not inconvenience families, students who purchased and received Propel Black
t-shirts/sweatshirts may continue to wear them this school year. Please feel free to email us if
you have any questions.
Respectfully,
The Propel Administration Team
When the weather begins getting chilly, please remember to send your child with a sweater to keep on during the school day. (No Hoodies allowed.)
